Fall Family Session

Brandie wanted a few fall family pictures so we met at my favorite park for her family images. Little man Jack is only two and was so adorable in his blue jeans and shirt all tucked in. Here's a sneak peak at few from their session.

Fall in Gatlinburg

My husband and I took a nice get away to Gatlinburg recently. The drive through the mountains was peaceful and beautiful. We drove with the sunroof open, the radio off and only the sound of the leaves and cool air going by and of course stopping occassionally for a quick snap of the camera and to breathe in the moment. I'd like to invite you to drive along with us and enjoy the view.

God writes the gospel not in the Bible alone, but on trees and flowers and clouds and stars. Martin Luther

Leipers Fork

I went with few other photographers to capture some of the fall color and beautiful country side of nearby Leipers Fork. Fall color is sparse this year because of all the rain we've had but we were still able find lots of beauty on our outing. You can see more images at

Sam and Shelly's Engagement Session

I love to meet couples for the first time. The excitement they share over their engagement and spending a fun session together capturing the first of many memories they will enjoy as a couple makes it all a wonderful day. Congratulations Sam and Shelly. You two were great to work with and I am looking forward to the wedding.

Brandon & Jami's Wedding

I love weddings and this one was really special. Brandon and his family are long time friends. His Mom and Dad introduced my husband and me almost 24 years ago now so it was quite an honor to have a part in making their wedding day special. The ceremony and reception were held on the beautiful Franklin property of the Miller family. It was a beautiful day capped off with a full moon, dancing in the grass and one very happy couple. Congratulations!

Remembering Ilford

Remember the days of good black and white film? I love digital but the Ilford film produced some of the finest quality black and white images. I thought I would post a couple and invite you to view the rest in the Black and White Gallery at http://www.vickierileyphotography.com/ These images were taken with Ilford HP5 black and white film and developed in the darkroom.

Family Day

So little Silas is two now and ready for his second year photo session. I met him last year at one and we had a fun photo shoot in the studio. This year he got to play outside with his Mom and Dad while the lady with the camera chased him and played peek-a-boo-I-see-you around trees. Here's a sneak peak at a few of the images captured. Thanks guys.
